

Cassandra Kamakeeaina
"Ms. Cassy"
Founder, Director & Instructor
Ms. Cassy has over 20 years in experience teaching ballet. She has spent time in New York, with world renowned dancers and iconic instructors Irina Kolpakova, Vladilen Semenov, Elena Sherstneva, Ekaterina Schelkanova and Anton Boytsov among others whom all graduated from the famous Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia before continuing careers with Bolshoi, Mariinsky (Formerly Kirov) and American Ballet Theater. Ms. Cassy was also given the rare and priceless opportunity to study in great detail the breakdown of teaching the Vaganova method from one of Agrippina Vaganova’s favorite students and one of the rare few she also trained as an instructor, Ludmilla Safronova. Ms. Cassy is passionate this knowledge continues to be passed down to future generations before it is lost and to ensure the art form can continue in all its rich and beautiful prestige.

She is an alumna of Vacaville Ballet Theatre Company as a Principal dancer, after joining in 1995 as a corps member. After moving to Newport Beach to continue studying ballet at the University of California, Irvine she returned to Vacaville as the assistant to the Director and then served as the Artistic Director and Choreographer of Vacaville Ballet Company for almost a decade. In her time as Director she staged Marius Petipa's Paquita and Heidi LuMaye's Alice in Wonderland, choreographed and staged Nutcracker and Wizard of Oz. In addition, she has written, choreographed and staged such original works as Nightmare Before Nutcracker, Mutiny!, To Steel Time and Metallic Dolls. In 2021, she founded and became the Artistic Director of Royal School of Ballet's new pre-professional company, Majesty Ballet Theater, in order to continue sharing the art of classical ballet in our community. This last year alone two new full length ballets were brought to the stage, Peter Pan and An American Nutcracker.

Ms. Amanda
Pre-Ballet Instructor
Ms. Amanda began dancing at 3 in Okinawa Japan at Su-Chien Hong's International Dance Academy. Upon moving to Northern California, she pursued musical theater in Solano College's Actor Training Program.
She has since performed in many musicals, taught, stage managed, assistant directed and choreographed for Solano Children's Theater, Vallejo Music Theater and Davis Music Theater. Her choreography for Brigadoon and The 1940's Radio Hour were nominated for Solano's Arty Awards.
You may also recognize her from Artistic Director Cassandra Kamakeeaina's Wizard of Oz as the Wizard and Rat King for several seasons of Kamakeeaina's Nutcracker.
Ballet Instructor
Miss Kaylee has been studying ballet since she was 4 years old and a student with Ms. Cassy since she was 5.
She is a soloist and founding member of Majesty Ballet Theater Company after three seasons with Vacaville Ballet Company as a corps member and soloist. She has danced such memorable roles as Snow Queen, Sugar Plum and Peter Pan.
She has participated in multiple intensives through Royal School of Ballet and Vacaville Ballet Company. She also participated in an online virtual summer intensive with Virtual Ballet Intensives.
She was accepted into Joffrey Ballet School's NYC Classical Ballet Summer Intensive, and American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in 2020.

Miss Kaylee
Flamenco Instructor
Ms. Angela is a Venezuelan American multidisciplinary artist, choreographer, and researcher who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art and a Master of Fine Arts in Choreography. Her work deals with issues of migration and identity through an interdisciplinary practice. She utilizes her experience in Visual Arts and Traditional Flamenco Dance as tools to cultivate an experimental practice that is rooted in tradition but pursues new ways of understanding.
Her work has been featured in art galleries, performing arts theaters, and alternative spaces throughout the United States and internationally. Some of these spaces include The Miramar Cultural Center; Bayou Theater, Match Theater; Texas State Galleries; Denton Arts Center; among others. Additionally, she have been recognized and supported by various non-profit organizations; including the recognition of 2021 Cultura Power Grant Awardee by San Jose’s leading Latinx Art Organization – MACLA; the support of Studio 210 summer 2021 Residency program; and Ca$h Dance award 2022 by Dancer’s Group in San Francisco, and the Cultural Growth Award by On Stage Vacaville.

Ms. Angela

Miss Bella
Ballet Instructor
Ms. Bella has been a student with Ms Cassy for over a decade. She is a graduate student of Royal School of Ballet and also company alumni as a Corps and Soloist. Her most favorite roles were Wicked Witch and Dorothy from Wizard of oz and Sugar Plum in the Nutcracker. She has been a ballet instructor on staff with Royal School of ballet since 2016 and has taught Pre-Ballet, Contemporary and Intro Hula as welling as subbing for Intermediate and Advanced classes.
Now using outside training for Barre fitness, she has returned to host a strengthening class. Giving our dancers a safe, high intensity, low impact, full body workout which focuses on working the larger muscle groups and improves strength, flexibility and endurance. Miss Bella also gives private fitness and/or ballet lessons upon request for all ages.
Ballet Instructor
Ms. Katelyn is a graduate student of Royal School of Ballet and has trained with Ms. Cassy since childhood. She is also a company alumna as a Principal dancer.
She has continued her dance background and education at UCLA and UC Davis. She returned to Vacaville after becoming a first grade teacher and has joined our staff as an instructor for our Adult Ballet classes.

Miss Katelyn
Ballet Instructor
Ms. Macie is a graduate student of Royal School of Ballet and has trained with Ms. Cassy for over 18 years. She is also a company alumna as a Principal dancer after joining the company in 2009 as an Apprentice. She has danced many roles including Queen of Sweet Dreams, Cheshire Cat, Clara, Captain, and Lead Arabian.
After graduating from Vanden High School, Macie has continued her education at University of Northern Colorado earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Jacksonville University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has moved home to Vacaville where she is currently a Registered Nurse and substitute teaching for various levels at the Royal School of Ballet.
