About the event
An American Nutcracker is a performance bursting with color and merriment expressed through dance and music. Set in the United States in the 1940's, it is an homage to the first Nutcracker ballet performed in America in 1944, which ushered in reinvigorated interest in the ballet.
Hosting An American Nutcracker is the historic theater on Downtown Vacaville’s Main Street. Almost a century old, the theater was reopened in 2021 as Journey Downtown Theater.
Majesty Ballet warmly welcomes you to come enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays in this unique venue while supporting local youth at An American Nutcracker.
